Something You Don't See Every Day
So with Fleet Week upon us and now that I work downtown and all that, I decided to take advantage of the parade of tall ships today. I was all "Oh, I'll take the ferry to work so I can pass them," but, yeah, they don't run the ferries when the big boats are coming up the Hudson. So I just did something I don't normally do...and took my sweet-ass time and admired the boats some more.
But still, I got to see the tail end of the parade, which is pretty neat, and then they fired cannons near the World Financial Center, and that wasn't at all frightening, and then I took the PATH to work, and when I got out, walked through the set of "Royal Pains." Some days, working in Manhattan is pretty freaking cool.
