In the further chronicles of Wikipedia And The Crazy People Who "Edit" It Sometimes, I give you this bon mot from Ryan Lochte's (Or Cafe Latte's, if you're my mother) recently updated entry (click the pic to see it bigger):
There are two ways this can go: A bitter Michael Phelps stan who has devoted his/her existence to making sure his/her favorite swimmer is propped up in any way possible, even if it means trashing another swimmer (who beat their favorite head-to-head and, yes, is pretty freaking hot) on his profile. OR, someone with a very strange sense of humor - the italicized France is a clue in that direction. I'm not sure what's scarier: A Michael Phelps stan or someone who gets their jollies off "editing" an entry to ridiculousness, even if in the name of humor.
Either way, it sort of makes me long for the musty-smelling Collier's collection circa 1975 of my parents' house, even if that whole set is now in the trash somewhere. Alas.
